- I have meant to email you for months, and have decided—there’s no time like the present!
I wanted you to know how much Chuck enjoys the turtle walking stick, and how many compliments we get on it everywhere we go. It was just magnificent when he walked his daughter down the aisle at her wedding. She was so delighted, as she had insisted months earlier—“No Rubbermaid (his hospital cane) at the wedding!” When I told Chuck where the stick came from, it turns out to be quite a coincidence. I did not realize that he was actually born in Mt. Harris, Colorado, a former mining town 164 miles from where you are located. It’s as though the walking stick found him! He uses it every day, and it has replaced his Rubbermaid cane for good! It helps him stand up nice and straight, and is a work of art at the same time!
